Colin G Jackson
BSc (Hons), DIC, MSc, Grad Dip Bus Admin
Colin Jackson is a metallurgist and mineral process design engineer graduate of Birmingham University and Royal Schoold of Mines, Imperial College, London University. He has over 40 years of industry experience and brings to the company a strong technical background and extensive copper-gold knowledge. In addition he has substantial global financial market experience and has guided a number of companies from the exploration phase into production.
After 10 years mine design and operating experience with Selection Trust Limited and RGC Limited, Mr Jackson became a Director of Reseach and Corporate for McIntosh Securities Ltd (now Merrill Lynch International Australia Ltd) where he raised equity for a significant number of gold companies including Kidston Gold Mines and Placer Pacific Limited's IPO over a 12 year period. His next 8 years were dedicated to communication and investor relations roles at Newcrest Mining Limited and Normandy Mining Limited where he was Group Executive Corporate.
More recently Mr Jackson has held non-executive Director positions with Terramin Australia Limited, Intrepid Mines Limited and Red 5 Limited where he helped guide the financing and development of the Paulsens underground gold mine in Western Australia, the Angus zinc mine in South Australia, and the Siana open pit gold mine on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines.
Mr Jackson is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Christopher G Drown
BSc (Hons), MAusIMM, MAICD
Chris Drown is a geologist with over 25 years experience in the Australian exploration and mining industry.
A graduate of the University of Tasmania, Mr Drown worked in underground nickel mines at Western Mining Corporation’s Kambala operations in Western Australia, and filled mining geology roles at Aberfoyle Resources Limited’s Hellyer lead-zinc-silver deposit in western Tasmania. In 1991, he moved from mine geology into exploration searching for base metal and gold deposits in the Northern Territory and South Australia.
Mr Drown was appointed exploration manager of Adelaide Resources shortly after it listed on the ASX and has since played a major role in the company’s activities. In March 2005 he accepted an invitation to join the Board of Adelaide Resources as an executive director and in November 2007 was appointed Managing Director.
Mr Drown is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a member of the Geological Society of Australia.
Executive Director and Company Secretary
Nicholas J Harding
BA (Acc), Grad Dip (Acc), Grad Dip (Applied Finance), Grad Dip (Corp Governance), FCPA, F Fin, AGIA
Nick Harding is a qualified accountant and company secretary with over 25 years experience in the resources industry. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and possesses qualifications in accounting, finance and corporate governance
Mr Harding has held various senior roles with WMC Resources Limited, Normandy Mining Limited and Newmont Australia Limited. At WMC Resources over a period of 14 years to 1999 he held a number of senior management roles at both minesites and regional offices in Western Australia and South Australia including 5 years as Chief Financial Officer for Olympic Dam Operations, and 4 years as Chief Accountant and Business Planning Manager for the Copper Uranium Division.
In 8 years from 1999 to 2006 at Normandy Mining and then Newmont Australia following the takeover by Newmont of Normandy, Mr Harding held the positions of General Manager Operations Finance and General Manager Planning and Analysis which respectively had responsibilities for accounting, finance and budgeting for 14 mining operations in Australia and overseas.
Mr Harding has established his own consulting business providing accounting, financial and company secretarial support to a number of ASX listed exploration companies including Andromeda Metals Limited.
Jonathan P Buckley
BEc, SF Fin, GAICD
Jonathan Buckley is a corporate executive with extensive commercial and corporate finance experience spanning over 25 years in Australia and the UK.
Mr Buckley was previously Group Managing Director for PhillipCapital Australia, part of a leading Asian financial group providing corporate finance, funds management, stockbroking and wealth management services in Australia. He ha been a founding director of a number of fund management businesses in high growth sectors, including resources and healthcare.
Prior to establishing PhillipCapital Australia's corporate advisory business, Mr Buckley was Manager, Strategic Planning for Rothchild Asset Management UK based in London. He has also held roles with KPMG Management Consulting and Barclays de Zoete Wedd Securities in London.
Mr Buckley is the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Mark A Manly
BSc (Hons), MAusIMM
Mark Manly is a geologist with over 25 years experience in the resources industry and holds an honours degree in geology.
Prior to commencing with Adelaide Resources in 2013, Mr Manly was for 5 years the Chief Geologist for Phoenix Copper Limited exploring for copper and gold deposits in South Australia. Previous to that he was Regional Exploration Manager for Perilya Limited exploring for gold and base metal deposits in New South Wales. He has also filled similar positions at WMC Resources, North Limited, Paragon Resources and Coolgardie Gold. Over that time he has explored for a diverse range of minerals including gold, copper, lead zinc, silver, nickel, tin, uranium, iron ore and oil and gas.
Mr Manly was integral in the discovery of the Black Cat and Panther gold deposits near Coolgardie, and the Pinnacles gold deposit at Cue in Western Australia. He led teams that advanced projects advanced prospects to mineral reserve status at the Nimingarra iron ore deposit in Western Australia, and the Flying Doctor and Potosi Extended lead-zinc prospects near Broken Hill in New South Wales.
Mr Manly is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and has acted as a Competent Person with respect to the reporting of exploration results and of mineral resource and reserve estimates.
