Meaningful engagement with Traditional Owners
Our partnership with the community includes Traditional Owners who have enduring connections to the land we are working on. We recognise all Australia's Indigenous Peoples as custodians of the land and key stakeholders in the communities in which we work.
We acknowledge and respect the past, present, and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation. We continue to work with our Traditional Owner partners at our project locations to provide opportunities and create shared value.
Partners with our community
At Andromeda, we understand the responsibilities we have to our local communities and we want to build healthy relationships based on trust and respect.
We will look first to local communities to source our team and employ a ‘shop locally’ policy wherever we operate. As our business grows, we will invest in creating opportunities for young people to develop new skills that meet our needs and are transferable to other employers and sectors.
Our team is encouraged to join in and contribute to activities that enhance liveability and inclusion in communities. Our organisation will support community initiatives where it is possible for us to make meaningful contributions.
