Great White Project
Located southwest of Poochera on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, our flagship project is centred on the large, high-quality Great White Deposit, a naturally occurring blend of halloysite tubes and kaolinite plates.
Andromeda Metals Limited (‘Andromeda’) is an Australian company with a vision to lead the world in the sustainable supply of superior quality industrial minerals and advancement of nanotechnologies.
Our deposits contain naturally occurring blends of halloysite tubes and kaolinite plates.
These minerals can be transformed into high-quality ceramics as well as many new products and technologies at the forefront of science and essential to building a more sustainable future.
With extensive experience in geology, mining, kaolin-halloysite applications and deep connections to global markets, we also understand the importance of working within communities. Our locally-based leadership team are in a strong position to deliver a world-class industrial minerals business to bring an array of opportunities to the region.
We are keeping our eyes on the horizon and investing in new technologies and applications for our products. Through our investment in Natural Nanotech Pty Ltd, we are investigating new applications and opportunities to commercialise halloysite-kaolin nanoparticles. The University of Newcastle’s Global Innovative Centre for Advanced Nanomaterials (GICAN) in NSW are our partners in this initiative.
